Try some of these pinecone Christmas decor ideas this year for a more natural, rustic look to your Christmas decor. These ideas are simple but spectacular!
I think that if I could get away with decorating for Christmas with only pinecones, I would. Well, maybe pinecones and fresh greenery clipped from the trees on our property. You really can’t beat Mother Nature’s beauty when it comes to decorating, inside or out. I even picked up these crazy-huge, but somehow real, pinecones at a local garden centre this year to add to our home-grown collection. I love they way they look mixed in with dried hydrangeas from our garden and some more modest sized pine cones from our yard.
We have a few pinecone-producing evergreens in our yard and I really just discovered how great the pinecones off of them are last year. Chris is hoping to plant some more coniferous trees down on the far end of our property soon and I think I’m definitely going to have to put some consideration into what kind of pinecones they’ll make for us so I can replicate some of these amazing ideas! Read on for all the Christmas pinecone inspiration you’ll need to get you outside hunting for pinecones!
I love that these pinecone Christmas decor ideas are so simple and affordable, but really come together to be quite spectacular when all’s said and done.
