So… what did you do this weekend? Anything big? Anything fun?
Me, I didn’t do much. Only… HAD A BABY!
Meet our little Jack!
Born Friday, December 6th at 12:39 pm. He was 8lbs 4oz, and 19 inches long. We really had about the easiest, best experience at the hospital that we could have hoped for. Now we’re all home and doing great, other than being incredibly sleep-deprived from this kid’s constant appetite!
So I just wanted to pop in really quick today and give you the news!
Here he is with Chris in the hospital.
Here he is at home last night with his (adoring!) big sis Kennedy.
My sister-in-law understands my great love of Pottery Barn Kids and got Jack this super soft bunny nap mat. We tried it out last night for a little quick tummy time.
Look at him. It’s like he’s saying “Ooooo! Soft!”
Finally, here he is coming home from the hospital yesterday. This cold weather is not the nicest introduction to the outside world, but at least he had a fun hat to wear for the occasion!
So, I’ve obviously been a little quiet the last few days, but I do have some posts all ready to go to share with you soon, so we should be able to keep the good times rollin’ around here, even with all the big news on the home front.
Thank you so much to all my friends on Facebook and Instagram for their happy thoughts, well wishes, and congratulations. It’s so much fun to have such a huge community of friends to share all my good news with!
