I wanted to put some of that fresh (faux) green grass vase filler I made the other day front and center for the month of March this year. I always enter through the kitchen side door and I see whatever’s on the kitchen table first when I walk in.
So here’s what I came up with!
I played around with a few things that just make me happy to look at.
Cheerful white flowers in mercury glass.

Bright, fresh green. The opposite of what’s outside my window right now. I hear 2 hours down the road there’s snow 6 feet high, so I really shouldn’t complain. Who can help but want Spring to come sooner though?
My felt cut-out table runner and Pottery Barn Emma salt and pepper shakers. I got them for Christmas from my wonderful family, along with a bunch of other pieces and I stop to admire them at least once a day, so they’re staying out a little while longer before the Easter ones come out of the cupboard.

Blown out real eggs, some dyed blue, all lined up in chicken egg cups. What can I say? Orderliness makes me happy. Control freak alert!

Basically, it’s just a little shot of happiness for me as soon as I walk in the house!
Do you have something special on your kitchen table right now?
