We have a whole collection of old saws in our garage. Actually we had more last year, but I think Chris may have “de-cluttered” some of them.
I’ve been eyeing them up for the last year, secretly thinking I could steal them and use them inside in some kind of rustic, tool-inspired decorating extravaganza. Never did though.
Then. THEN! I saw an image, which I now can’t find, in the last issue of the Pottery Barn catalogue. Yup. Saws. I’m a visionary.
I ran out to the garage likity split and grabbed those puppies up.

I played around with them in the mud room, just to see what would happen.
Love this look! And now I think I’ve found my inspiration for my Christmas Mud Room too!
Can you tell what I’m going to do? Hint: It’s really obvious.
So add this one to the list of cool things I found for free around this house to decorate with. I love cool junk! Especially when it’s free.
