Wahoo! It’s home tour time!
I’m so excited to be participating in the Canadian Bloggers’ Home Tour once again this Christmas. If you’re new around these parts, I hope you enjoy your visit! If you’re a long-time reader, well I hope you enjoy your visit too!
I had a little bit more time to make some holiday festiveness happen around the house this year, so I’m really happy with the little touches I’ve added, although everything was totally easy-peasy as always!
I’ll keep the chit-chat to a minimum so you can just enjoy the ambiance. 🙂 Let’s get started!
Our living room is where we do most of our living these days, so everything needs to be pretty simple in here and mostly toddler-proof. I just love how it doesn’t take much to make a room feel Christmassy though. Just a few pops of red and some extra blankets and pillows and we’re all set for a cozy holiday season!
In real life, there are always tractors and various pieces of construction equipment on our living room floor, so it just seemed wrong to clear them out of the room completely. 🙂
I added G’s to the tree this year for our family name, and lots of reindeer, just because I like them. And of course a train. What Christmas tree is complete without a train?
We juuuuust finished renovating the bathroom in the master bedroom and I’ve got a few posts about it lined up for the next few weeks, but I just had to take the chance to add a few decorations in here and show it off just because I love this room so much!
Want to know a little secret? The plans for this dining room all started with the red ribbon tied around the napkins. I bought myself a pair of grocery store pajamas and the perfect red grosgrain ribbon was used to tie the label on them. I just couldn’t throw it out. You know how it is, right? So I bring you, the pajama ribbon dining room! (P.S. They’re really comfy pajamas 🙂 )
OK, now make sure you go and visit each one of the other stops on the tour! They’re all listed for you right below! So many talented Canadians with seriously (seriously) inspiring homes and ideas. AND if you liked this little tour of my home from me, I’d love to have you join me on instagram where I share little peeks of life around here everyday!
Come back each day to see a new set of home tours from Monday to Thursday this week.
