These cozy traditional fall home finds will give your space a collected, designer feel at a fraction of the price. Lean in to layers of texture, moody colors, and nostalgic prints with these autumnal finds.

When it comes to fall home decor, my preferences land somewhere firmly between timelessly elegant and playfully tacky. I like to first add in cozy layers that bring warmth, texture, and pattern, and create an autumnal mood in my home without actually being theme-y. I gravitate most towards traditional pieces that aren’t necessarily fall-specific and that I’ll probably continue to use into the winter months and beyond, and then I might pop in some of our fun, Thanksgiving or Halloween themed pieces that are part of our family’s traditions on top of my base fall decor. Honestly, I can usually only handle all the chaos of the theme-y decor for a week or two at a time, so it’s nice to be able to go back to a calm, elevated autumn look when I’m done with the pumpkins and the bats and the Thanksgiving pie garland. With all that being said, today I’m sharing some of my favorite elevated, cozy traditional fall home pieces that will create that soothing, comforting look in your home. All the pieces I’m sharing today also happen to be so affordable, despite being beautiful, high-quality pieces. Just because something is timeless and traditional doesn’t mean it always has to be expensive.

Tortoiseshell Glasses | I stumbled upon these the other day and had to share them on Instagram. The price is insane!
Mantel Clock | There’s nothing more timeless and traditional than a classic mantel clock. If you don’t have a mantel, use it on a shelf or a console table for instant class.
Green Serving Tray | I love this beautiful green tray for a soft pop of color on a table or dresser. I like to layer trays like this on a bedside table or desk with plants and framed family photos. This one looks like an expensive designer find, but it’s actually from Walmart!
Trinket Dish | This gold rimmed trinket dish is the perfect way to keep earrings and bracelets from rolling away after you take them off. This piece looks like a cherished family heirloom, but it’s actually from Amazon.
Floral Journal | I use a lot of little journals like this for taking notes and drawing up styling plans so I love to find ones that are beautiful enough to be left out. This moody floral print adds to your decor rather than making your desk look cluttered.
Ruffled Gingham Pillows | I have to admit that I’m just thrilled that ’90s style ruffles are back in a big way. The combination of ruffles and gingham in these super affordable pillow covers is so beautiful, and perfect for bringing cozy traditional style to your home this fall and winter.
Fall Foliage Branches | The best fall branches are foraged from outside, clipped from your garden or a nearby nature area, but the second best are the simple, natural-looking ones that you’ll use year after year, like these beautiful, very affordable stems that you’ll find at your local craft store.
Stacking Wicker Baskets | I have a little collection of vintage picnic baskets that look so lovely all stacked up. If you can’t find your own vintage collection, you can recreate the look with this set. I love the dark brown color and the fact that they provide lots of extra storage while adding so much style and texture to a space.
Ginkgo Leaf Frame | This little frame is so beautiful. I love ginkgo trees, so that makes it even more special. This would make a great gift paired with a family photo from this year or buy it for yourself and group it with a collection of family photos in vintage brass frames on a desk or dresser.
Earthy Pitcher Vase | This pitcher vase is so great. First of all, I love the earthy finish which will look so beautiful with fall stems and even Christmas greenery later on. Secondly, the extra little handle acts as a bit of a built in flower frog and helps your stems stand upright a little better when you’re trying to style them just perfectly. A great year-round piece.
Long Barn Coat | This isn’t home decor, obviously, but it would look absolutely beautiful hanging on a hook in your mudroom between wears. I love a good deal on a classic piece that you’ll wear for years. Just because something is timeless, doesn’t mean it has to be expensive. I think the fact that the collar on this coat is a little oversized is what makes it so cute and flattering. 🙂
