Try these slow cooker Thanksgiving recipes this year so you can lighten your workload and enjoy a little more time with your friends and family!
It can definitely be a little overwhelming to put together a whole big Thanksgiving meal, especially if you’re going to be having a large group over. Even with make-ahead dishes, it can still feel like you need 8 arms to get everything done on time and served up while it’s still hot. Luckily, like for so many other meal-times worries, there’s a slow cooker trick for that! Several, actually! Here in Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving in early October, so now’s the time for us to start planning our Thanksgiving feast! I thought I’d put together a list of different slow cooker Thanksgiving recipes today so we can all work smarter, not harder this year!
It really helps if you own multiple Crock Pots, because then you can just make that many more slow cooker recipes, but if you don’t, I’m sure one of your guests will gladly lend you theirs for the day! If you’re in the market for a new slow cooker, or just like the idea of having an extra one on hand, I love this Crock Pot Casserole style slow cooker that I bought a few years ago. It’s perfect for so many of these Thanksgiving recipes and I use mine all the time for regular weeknight dinners!
