These printable art pieces are a fun way to update your home decor instantly using frames you already have at home. Try some of these combinations for a quick and easy decorating solution.

Printable art is an easy and affordable way to decorate your walls, shelves, and console tables. It’s an almost instant solution to any styling dilemma because all you need to do is print off your art and put it into any frame that you already have. Printable art can be printed out in almost any size you need, and larger sizes can easily be sent to a print shop or office supply store for quick printing and easy pick-up. Use frames from the thrift store or antique market to give your spaces extra personality and character, or use matching matted frames in a group for a striking and cohesive gallery wall. I love using printable art when I style for shoots because I can just search up what I need, print it off, and pack it up to go with me on location. I often love the look of these prints so much that I end up repurposing them in my own home. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite timeless and traditional style printable art pieces that can be mixed and matched in your home. I’ve put them into pairings and groups below that work beautifully together to take the guess work out of the process completely if you’re looking for something really quick and easy.

Pairing 1: Neutral Eucalyptus Art + Muted Floral Meadow | This hand-drawn eucalyptus art is part of a collection of simple line art drawings that I use frequently for styling photoshoots. The simple style and warm, textural backgrounds of these pieces lend themselves to being used in more modern spaces as well as more traditional ones. I’ve paired it here with this muted floral meadow print for a look that feels sunny and pastoral.
Pairing 2: Stormy Seas + Moody River | If you love the Fisherman Aesthetic look that I shared recently, this pairing will be perfect for you. Moody and cozy, with nautical, seaside vibes that work for any season. The ship at sea print feels like it would be right at home in an old ship captain’s house, and the more modern painting style of the moody river print gives the pairing a refreshing, unexpected look.
Pairing 3: Dark Hydrangeas + Overcast Grasslands | This pairing captures the feel of a summer storm rolling in across the fields. I’d love to see these pieces grouped together on a console table with a lamp and a large, rustic pitcher vase filled with textural, muted stems.
Mediterranean Botanicals Grouping: Lavender + Cypress + Olive + Sage | This grouping of line-art drawings is understated and elegant and works beautifully together as a group on an empty wall or above a dresser for an instant focal point. The neutral color scheme ensures that you won’t soon tire of these pieces. Timeless doesn’t always have to mean expensive!
Hints for Using Printable Art
I recommend printing your art on fine art paper or card stock for the best results that will ensure that your art doesn’t look like you printed it at home. In a pinch, printing on paper and using a frame with glass will work just fine.
Pair saturated store-bought art pieces with simple line art printables for a fresh look that adds interest to your space without making it feel too busy. Using line art printables also saves you quite a bit of printer ink!
Use a combination of simple, thinner frames and larger frames with mats for a custom, designer look. Vintage frames and thrifted picture frames can also add a lot of interest and personality to traditional pieces. (Love these Amazon frames for the look of high-quality vintage store finds if you can’t seem to find quite the right thing.)
