Just a really fun little idea I came up with recently that I had to share. This is such a tidy, simple idea for storing mouthwash.
Is this a crazy subject for a blog post? Maybe, but I just felt so clever when I came up with this idea the other day and I had to share. If anyone else has a big bottle of mouthwash sitting on their bathroom counter, this might be just the thing. I accidentally ordered a giant bottle of mouthwash recently with our grocery order. Usually I have a smaller bottle and it sits on the counter, reminding me to use it, and I don’t mind it much at all. This big bottle was just a little too unsightly for me though. I’m that weird person who stores their toothbrush inside a bathroom cupboard because they don’t like the look of it sitting out, so a nice, tidy bathroom counter is something that’s important to me. I think this simple idea for storing mouthwash is just so lovely though.
Bedside Water Carafe for Storing Mouthwash
I came across this bedside table water carafe recently on Amazon and I really thought it was much more expensive looking than it was. I loved the simple design of it, and how the proportions were just right, but I don’t really have a need for a bedside water carafe right now with the way my hydrations routines are. If I were to leave a glass of water out there, the cat would definitely start drinking it immediately, so this carafe would definitely be handy to prevent that. I had a different use in mind though! 🙂
I emptied the giant ugly plastic bottle of mouthwash into the carafe and recycled the bottle. The little glass on top is perfect for dispensing a little bit of your daily mouthwash, and it acts as a lid when it’s not in use.
Of course there aren’t any little measurement markings the way there are on the plastic lid of the bottle that the mouthwash comes in, but I think I can do a pretty good job of figuring out how much I should swish. 🙂
For another, slightly more trendy option, I really love this reeded glass bedside carafe too. So fun!
So that’s it! A tidy little idea for storing your mouthwash.
