I’ve always thought that twine was one of the best and most useful crafting supplies that any DIYer can have. Adding a little twine to any project always seems to give it so much character and can look beachy, or rustic, or modern, or cottagey, depending on how you use it. I keep quite a few rolls around the house and always stock up when I’m in a dollar store. I’ve realized lately though that I haven’t used very much twine at all in my projects and that’s just wrong. It probably has something to do with the war on weeds going on around here since Spring started.
Let’s look at some of my favorite twine projects today, shall we? Maybe by the time we’re done, I’ll have my twining mojo back.
A bowl made from twine and white glue. This one turned out so well and was so easy to do. I really should make like 50 more of these.
DIY storage bin made from a cardboard box with twine to give it a baskety look.
Newspaper, tape, and twine Easter bunny. I went a little twine crazy at Easter this year. It was awesome.
Newspaper, tape, and twine Easter decor carrots.
OK. It’s official. My love of twine has returned to me. I’m already looking around the kitchen as I type trying to find something that could use a little twine-ification.
