In today’s post I’ll share some of the really great classic and modern lighting options from Amazon that I stumbled upon recently.
As you know, I’ve been taking great joy in watching as Amazon Canada has been rapidly catching up to the American Amazon site in terms of the quality of things that are available. I used to see all of my American blogger friends finding great things for their homes on Amazon, but none of it was ever available on the Canadian version. It was sad. The selection over here has gotten so much better over the last year-or-so though and I’ve been busy filling my cart with all kinds of finds, just to save them so I can find them later if I decide I need them. Today I thought I’d share some of my favourite modern lighting options from Amazon that I came across when I was starting to consider some new lamps recently.
Amazon Lighting Options
If I ever get around to finishing painting my dining room, I’d love to put a pair of these lamps on the buffet in there to replace the 14 year-old-cheapo lamps that we’ve had since forever. Seriously, follow along with me on Instagram for my adventures with trying to find time to paint this room. It’s taking me months and it’s kind of hilarious at this point.
A Few Light Fixtures
We’ll be needing a couple of sconces (probably) for over the bookcases in the living room. While I was on the lookout for those, I came across some other things that I loved too. I thought I’d share in case someone is looking for a great light fixture!
First of all here, here are the sconces that I have my eye on for over the bookshelves.
I also really love these sconces, maybe for in a bathroom?
I had a really great chandelier that I wanted to share with you as well, but it looks like a lot of other people thought it was pretty great and it’s currently sold out. The shape kind of reminded me of a simple version of this one, which I’ve been seeing everywhere lately. It was this chandelier here, but in gold. Keep your eye out for a restock, because that is a great price! The oil rubbed bronze isn’t bad either, it just doesn’t have quite the same higher end look, in my opinion.
Have you tried buying lighting from Amazon? Any great finds that I’ve missed here?
