We all want the same things, really, don’t we? A happy family, health for our loved ones, and a paint color on our walls that we love. None of those things are necessarily easy to achieve, but armed with a little luck and a bit of knowledge, we can definitely make a big difference in those areas of our lives.
This Fall, I’ll be on a mission to help you at least get the paint part of the equation worked out. I’m teaming up with CIL paints to help you get over your fear of picking up that paintbrush, your “paint paralyis” if you will. 🙂
I’ll be writing a number of posts all about easy-peasy painting ideas, tips, techniques, and just generally being your DIY cheerleader as usual, but this time I’m also TAKING MY SHOW ON THE ROAD!
I’m going to have so much fun with this that I don’t even know what to do with myself!
I’ll be at the ready, along with technical paint experts from CIL to help you pick a paint and paint color that you will absolutely love, whether you’re a bold “all the colour all of the time” kinda person, or more of a “neutral goes with everything” type.
I’ll be at the following Home Depots in South Western Ontario over the course of 8 weeks this Fall and I can’t WAIT to meet you there to talk all about paint, decor, and getting you to love your DIY projects:
August 28, 2014 Waterloo
September 4, 2014 Cambridge
September 11, 2014 Guelph
September 18, 2014 St. Catherine’s
September 25, 2014 Ancaster
October 2, 2014 Hamilton Mountain
October 9, 2014 Hamilton
October 16, 2014 Burlington
There will be 9 other color experts, also dishing out free advice at Home Depots across the country, so follow the hashtag #CILontheroad to keep up to date with other opportunities for free expert help and advice at a Home Depot near you. But if you’re able to come see me, make sure you do!
Things to bring with you:
-Any fabric, tile, or wallpaper samples from things you’ll be using in the room.
-Any inspiration pictures you’ve found that you love.
-Any paint samples you have that you love but don’t know what to do with.
-A willingness to try your hand at a DIY decor project, even if you’ve never painted before!
Can’t wait to see you soon!
