These slow cooker sugared almonds are the perfect little snack to put out for just about any occasion throughout the holidays! These make a great easy hostess gift as well!
I always love a good slow cooker recipe, but I especially love a good slow cooker recipe when it can make my life a little easier around the holidays. I’m in the process of perfecting my slow cooker stuffing recipe and I think it’s going to be a game-changer this year. 🙂 There are so many other little eating and snacking occasions that come up during this most wonderful time of year though that aren’t the big Christmas dinner. These slow cooker sugared almonds are just the thing for those times. They take almost no effort at all to prepare, keep for weeks, and make sure you always have something homemade and a little special to put out when everyone’s just sitting around chatting.

This is another great recipe that can be made from things that I almost always have in the baking cupboard and I love that!
Making the Slow Cooker Sugared Almonds
Beware! There almonds smell like heaven when they’re cooking! Do not taste test one or you may not be able to stop. Ask me how I know. 🙂 Just enjoy having a house that smells amazing the day that you decide to throw these tasty little treats into the crock pot.
The process for making these is pretty simple. First, you’ll cook the almonds for a few hours in the wet ingredients, allowing the flavours to soak into the almonds, then you’ll add in the sugar and salt to coat them.
You’ll finish them off by allowing them to cool and harden. You can then package them up and store them away until you’re ready to use them!
