Slow Cooker Sugared Almonds

These slow cooker sugared almonds are the perfect little snack to put out for just about any occasion throughout the holidays! These make a great easy hostess gift as well!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups roasted, unsalted almonds
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine almonds, vanilla, coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, and water in your slow cooker and stir to coat almonds. Cook on low for 2-3 hours.

  2. After 2-3 hours, sprinkle in the sugar and the salt. Stir to coat all of the almonds. Allow to cook for about 30 minutes more.

  3. Pour the almonds out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow them to cool fully.

  4. Store at room temperature in an airtight container.
