Do you remember when we all started hanging plates on our walls? Not like 100 years ago, but I mean just a few years ago when it became a whole new trend. It opened up a whole new world of possibility for wall decor and added so much fun color and dimension to our living spaces. I still love plates on walls, maybe a little too much, but I think baskets on walls needs to be the next big thing. And here’s why:
Baskets on a wall at The Inspired Room.
Round baskets on a wall found at Homedit.
Baskets and plates on a wall at Three Pixie Lane.
Basket on the wall with flowers from Evi’s Country Snippets.
Metal basket wall from Design, Dining, and Diapers.
Giant tabacco basket from Shopping Candy.
Another giant tobacco basket at A Soft Place to Land.
You totally get it now, right? I’m betting I could find one of those big tobacco baskets around here pretty easily since that used to be one of the biggest crops grown in this area. It still is quite a bit, although much less for obvious reasons.
I’m working on my own DIY, almost-free version of the basket wall to show you today. I should have it ready for a close-up real soon!
