I like my walls beautifully filled, and I like them to leave me with money left over to enjoy the rest of my home as well. Here are some of the best affordable wall art finds.

If you love the look of authentic vintage and antique paintings, welcome to the club. There’s something so special about visiting a thrift store or antique market and coming across the perfect vintage oil painting with muted colors and a wonderfully aged appearance. While my home looks like it’s filled with the most amazing antique art finds and vintage pictures, you might be surprised to know that at least half of my wall art is actually new, and honestly, that makes my home even more beautiful. The magic truly is in the mix of old and new. Using a mix of antiques and new framed art allows me to curate just the personality-filled look I’m after. One that feels timeless and lived-in, but current and fresh at the same time. And I prefer to do that affordably in most cases, if I can find beautiful pieces that fit the bill. Read on for some of my favorite current pieces of affordable wall art.

My Latest Wall Art Update
Did you see my most recent little wall art project when I shared it on Instagram? I had a blank wall next to my living room built-ins that I had been staring at for five years, thinking that I needed to find something to go there. I’m so glad I waited because I ended up finding the perfect combination of three pieces that fill the wall so beautifully. I love how these pieces feel right at home in this room filled with other antique pictures and real oil paintings.

Sometimes I have an idea in mind for a particular wall, but I only have one or two thrifted pieces to get me started with completing my vision. That’s where new, vintage-inspired pieces like these come into play. The vintage framed art gives the grouping a feeling of authenticity, and a one-of-a-kind look, while the new pieces hit all the right notes to make the look come together in a cohesive and attractive way. Here are some of my favorites that I’ve come across recently.

Large Floral Meadow Print | Love this large, wall-filling print featuring a meadow scene with delicate white blooms. Such an affordable piece to set a peaceful tone in any space.
Large Moody Pastoral Print | This is such a great price for a beautiful, large piece of art. I can see this over a bed, a sofa, or on a blank wall in a dining room.
Green Matted Vintage Art | Love the dark green mat and vintage, sepia-toned line art drawing in this piece. The finish on the frame is just beautiful, too. A lovely piece to round out a grouping or to use on its own on a small blank wall.
Brass Bunny Wall Sculpture | I’d love to see this brass bunny as a fun, personality-filled addition to a gallery wall, or as an unexpected addition to an entryway.
Flying Cranes Print | I just love everything about this piece: the ivory and gold frame, the muted olive and blue color, the beautiful birds in flight. This piece would be right at home in our old house with all my other vintage pieces.
Gingham Duck Print | This little gingham duck print is giving me ’90s vibes in all the best ways. A fun, cheerful piece done in muted colors so it will work beautifully with current decorating styles.
Moody Skies Print | A beautiful vintage-style piece with an aged gold frame. I would tuck this into a bookshelf or use it on a wall paired with two other mismatched vintage-style framed art prints as a stack of three.
Portrait Print | Just so beautiful. I’d love to see this on the wall over a nightstand, on a shelf, or paired with a larger piece leaning on a console table.
Butterflies Print | This is such a sweet, cottage-y piece, and something you might usually think of for a child’s bedroom, but the muted brown color palette used make it something that can be displayed almost anywhere in your home to match current more neutral design trends.
Small Gold-Framed Mirror | This little mirror is the perfect piece to bring a little bit of extra personality to a gallery wall display or even just as an unexpected piece on its own, tucked into a small blank corner somewhere.
Large 2-Piece Print Set | This large, two-piece set is a quick, easy solution for filling a blank wall in a living room, dining room, entryway, or bedroom. Every space needs a little black to ground it, and I love the simple black frames that are used for these eye-catching pieces. I would use these in all-white, open-plan space to help define different areas and anchor a grouping of furnishings.
