I’ve always loved stripes whether they’re in clothing, home decor, or anywhere else, and I seem to find more and more reasons to love using them in my home all the time.

Stripes are the home decor pattern you can always fall back on. They’re classic, timeless, and never go out of style, and they can work beautifully on their own, but they make other patterns sing when you pair them together. I find myself feeling extra drawn to striped pieces lately, whether it’s a beautiful striped armchair that catches my eye, a pillow, or something as simple as the perfect linen dishtowel in a reliable ticking stripe fabric. Floral patterns are so popular right now in fashion and for the home, and stripes are the natural thing to pair with them for a charming, country-inspired look, whether your home is decorated in a more formal traditional style, or a casual, welcoming farmhouse look. I thought it would be fun to share a few favorite striped finds that I’ve come across recently for a little inspiration for using stripes around your home.

Favorite Striped Home Decor Finds

Striped Roman Shades | Window coverings are such an impactful way to add pattern to a space. I love these crisp striped roman shades for a bedroom or bathroom, either as the single hit of pattern in the space, or paired with botanical prints in other textiles in the room. These linen curtains with their thin, subtle striped pattern are a beautiful option as well. I’ll soon be adding these striped curtains to my living room, and I can’t wait!
Striped Arm Chair | This chair is such an instant classic that is sure to be a favorite for years to come. The traditional shape and turned legs ensure it will be truly timeless, and the striped pattern makes a welcoming, friendly statement. I’d love to see a pair of these chairs in a den or living room, or in a cozy little reading nook.
Ruffle Pillow | I’m so glad that ruffles have made a bit of a comeback because they’re just so beautiful and bring so much personality to a space. What’s even better than a ruffled pillow? A striped ruffled pillow of course! I love this affordable option for trying out this trend in a bedroom or on a floral or solid armchair.
Striped Rug | The most subtle way to add stripes to a space is definitely to place them underfoot. Stripes feel so natural on a rug, and quietly elevate a space when a solid rug would just fall flat. Love this relaxed, natural fibre option for gently infusing stripes into a space, or even for pairing with other, more boldly striped items.
Pitcher | (stems here) I love this textural take on stripes that is seen on this unique pitcher. This piece is unique, timeless, and a little bit modern at the same time. This would make the most beautiful vase for fresh or faux blooms on a table or sideboard.
Striped Dishes | These dishes have the look of handprinted stripes and I just love them. They’d look beautiful as a table setting, plated with food, or even as home decor. I can see the plates hung on a wall and one of those little bowls sitting on a stack of books on a shelf.
Striped Storage Bins | Storage bins can be kind of boring and sad looking, so I love this striped set. They would be a great option if you have open shelving to fill or in a beautifully organized linen closet.
Striped Decorative Box | This little box is such a statement piece and at such an affordable price too! These beautiful little boxes are often used on shelves, coffee tables, and consoles, and they can be quite expensive, so this one is a great find!
2-Pack Striped Pillow Covers | This affordable set of pillow covers is a great to to bring some neutral stripes into your space to complement other patterns that you might have in the room. Love the texture of the fringe detail around the edges.
Striped Lamp | How fun is this bold black and white lamp? I love it just as it is, but it would be so great as well paired with a lampshade done in a floral patterned fabric. A great, classic shape that will stand the test of time.
