In this post I’ll share some of the fun and interesting farmhouse style Christmas decor ideas that I’ve done this year around the house! Here’s my Christmas home tour 2019!
I think I may have outdone myself this year, just purely in the amount of Christmas decorating that I’ve done around here. I got started in early November right after Halloween and I’ve just basically kept going. I didn’t really intend to do so many big decorating projects, but I was just enjoying it so much that I kept going. 🙂 On top of these bigger Christmas decor projects, I also did a lot of smaller decor touches around the house with the kids. You’ll just have to follow my Instagram Stories to catch a glimpse of those because we definitely didn’t go to the trouble of doing proper photos of every room in the house this year. I love that Stories allows me to still share little moments with you even if they don’t make it into a full blog post. 🙂 So let’s get started! Here’s my Christmas Home Tour 2019!
Christmas Front Porch 2019
We built this porch just this summer, so it was extra fun to have a real front porch to decorate this year.
Christmas Mud Room 2019
This is actually our back hall mudroom, which is the one that leads out to the backyard. We mostly use this entrance for heading out for walks with our dog, Chuckers, at this time of year. We renovated this room a few years ago and I love all the storage in here. I realized that I had never decorated this room for Christmas even though we walk through here all the time, so this year I rectified that situation. 🙂
Christmas Kitchen 2019
I painted our kitchen table white this fall and I love how it looks next to our new flocked tree.

Christmas Living Room 2019
I’ve loved playing around with different shades of blue for Christmas this year, but we always do traditional red for the tree in our living room. It just feels right and I think it wouldn’t feel like Christmas at home for the kids without those same red ornaments that we bring out every year.

So that’s an overview of how things are looking around here for Christmas this year! You may have seen some of these photos in previous posts I’ve done this Christmas season, but I thought it would be nice to put it all together into one big walk-through.
