Take a peek into my cart! I’ve had some good luck with Amazon finds recently and I always love to hear about what random things people are finding there, so here are some of my best recent Amazon purchases.
I always enjoy little posts like this. It’s not just about the stuff, but it’s kind of like a little glimpse into someone’s everyday life through the random little necessities they decide to add to their cart. I just find it super interesting and sometimes you come across a suggestion or a find that is just the thing you’ve been needing. 🙂 If you enjoy a little peek into the everyday like I do, as well as a good find, here are some of my best recent Amazon purchases, in no particular order.
Successful Recent Amazon Finds
Stash Breakfast in Paris Tea | This was a repurchase after I first tried it last spring. This is a giant box of 100 tea bags, which is just about perfect when you drink tea constantly like I do. Absolutely perfect to pair with my Vanilla Lavender Shortbread Cookies.
Schlage Antique Brass Doorknob | We have Schlage glass doorknobs throughout our house, but I tried this beautiful brass one for the back hall because I couldn’t find the right configuration for this door in the other ones and just because it was fun to do something a little different in this hall at the back of our house.
Maple Syrup Taps | We’re in the middle of collecting sap from our maple trees for our yearly maple syrup boil! These are the taps we use. I shared a post recently all about how we harvest maple syrup from our trees if you’d like to try it out too!
Miele Vacuum Bags | It’s true. We use a bagged vacuum cleaner and we love it. I know there’s a lot of debate around which is best, bagged or bagless, but we love how great our bagged vacuum cleaner is at sucking everything up without fail and trapping it away. We have this vacuum as our main vacuum for big jobs and then I have a little handheld Dustbuster, which is bagless for little touch ups here and there.
Cashmere Blend Scarf | These scarves are amazing and I’ve bought several of them. I don’t understand how the price is so low. They’re 50% cashmere and so fluffy, soft, and warm. I have a camel one and a black one that I reach for again and again on chilly days and they also make great throw blankets for the living room because of their large size when you unfold them. Just the best affordable find.
ThxToms Kids Winter Gloves | Jack was in need of another extra pair of warmer ski gloves for school and I just ordered these earlier this winter instead of grabbing a cheap pair at a local big box store. They’ve held up super well so far, I’d say just as well as any higher quality ski gloves we’ve had for him, and you really can’t beat the price. Plus, he likes that they’re plain black without any flashy colors or patterns.
Cashmere Combs | I’ve talked at length before about how much I love these simple little tools. So satisfying! So effective! I recently shared how you can even use them to remove pills from upholstery.
Foldable Water Hyancinth Storage Baskets | I ended up having to return these because they didn’t quite fit the openings that I wanted them for, but it pained me to send them back because they were just so beautiful, sturdy, and non-wonky looking. If you’re in the market for larger storage cubes that don’t look cheap and cluttery, these are the ones!
Water Hyacinth Tray | I got this to match the baskets and kept it. So beautiful and strong. I’m using it for my big jars of ice melter and birdseed in the mudroom right now, but I’ll probably use it more for bringing cold drinks out to the porch once summer arrives.
White Noise Machine | Jack has been sleeping with a fan in his room for the last couple of years, mostly because he likes the noise, but having a giant fan in the middle of the room just drove me crazy, especially in the winter when it wasn’t really necessary. We decided to try this tiny white noise machine instead and he loves it! I got to put the fan away in the basement and he gets to keep his fan noise.
Classic Bottle Lamp | I bought this seeded glass table lamp for the mudroom and I just love it. Timeless, but still special. A pair of these would be a great option for bedside table lamps because they don’t take up a ton of space and you really can’t ever get tired of them.
Black Chef Aprons | I can’t tell you how many times over the last year or so I’ve felt like I should really be wearing an apron while baking. These are so handy to throw on when I want to protect my clothes and there’s a lot of flour flying everywhere. I know that if I have a tacky, brightly-colored apron, I just won’t wear it even if I need one, so these simple black ones are great. I actually wear them and they work.
