As the big day gets closer and the pressure seems to be on to have the most perfect Christmas, sometimes a classic quote can be just the right medicine to put everything into perspective and really remind us of what’s important. Plus, I just love a good quote or 20, don’t you? Here are a handful of my favorites that I’ve come across, some funny, some meaningful, and some kinda strange but still totally right on the money. 🙂
Weather you add these to your chalkboards, or just enjoy them here on the screen, here they are!
“He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under the tree.” – Roy L. Smith
“Christmas begins about the first of December with an office party and ends when you finally realize what you spent, around April fifteenth of the next year.” ~P. J. O’Rourke
“Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps… means a little bit more. ” – The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
“It snowed last year too: I made a snowman and my brother knocked it down and I knocked my brother down and then we had tea.” – Dylan Thomas
Wishing you all the very merriest Christmas possible!
