Try one of these easy plant-based dessert recipes if you have plant-based friends or family members coming to your next holiday or get-together. They’re good enough for everyone to enjoy together!
I like to try to share really practical, family friendly plant-based recipes on a fairly regular basis because I know so many people find them to be pretty helpful, especially when holidays are coming up and they have a plant-based friend or family member that they’d like to feed. I love to make recipes that are plant-based, but that feel familiar to everyone, so that everyone can enjoy together and you don’t need to make 20 different things for everyone’s different dietary needs. I usually base my plant-based recipes on the most comforting, traditional recipes I can find, so the methods for making them are usually pretty straightforward too. The only real difference most of the time is that I sub-in plant-based ingredients for anything in a traditional recipe that might be animal based. Plant-based substitutes can easily be found in any grocery store now. They’ve gotten to be much better tasting and much more affordable as well! Here are some of my current favorite plant-based dessert recipes.
Easy Plant-Based Dessert Recipes to Make for Friends and Family
Ritz Cracker Bark: Put this out on a table of snacks and watch it disappear.
Three Ingredient Apple Danishes: Perfect for serving for breakfast or with tea in the afternoon.
Sunday Morning Cinnamon Rolls: Perfect any other time too! 🙂
Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls: A little variation if you’re feeling extra indulgent.
Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp: So easy, so good. I love a homestyle dessert like this.
Pear Cobbler Recipe: This was shockingly good. I thought it was just going to turn out OK, but it ended up being one of those desserts that you just can’t stop thinking about. You know the ones I’m talking about. 🙂
Plant-Based Caramel Sauce: A dip or drizzle for basically anything.
Ginger Molasses Cookies: These might be plant-based, but I’m pretty sure they’re the best (non-Starbucks) ginger molasses cookies I’ve ever had.
Plant-Based Crustless Chocolate Pie: Basically a pie made out of fudge, but healthier. 🙂 This will nip any chocolate craving in the bud.
Plant-Based Tiramisu: In my opinion, this is the ultimate plant-based “fancy occasion” dessert, but it’s so easy to make, too! This is just my very favorite lately.
Do you have any plant-based or other special diet friends or family that you sometimes need to cook for?
