This easy crab dip recipe is always such a hit during holiday parties! Everyone loves this stuff and wants to know the recipe! They’re always so surprised to learn that it only takes three ingredients!
Happy Christmas week, everyone! I just wanted to pop in here and share a quick little recipe that’s been one of our Christmas favorites for years! Truthfully, this easy crab dip recipe would be perfect for snacking on while you’re having drinks on the deck with friends in the Summer too, but we always seem to have it at Christmastime. It’s just one of those dips that are so good, you can’t stop yourself from going back for more over and over again!
And you just can’t beat a 3-ingredient recipe in my books! Especially during this busy time of year. 🙂
If you need one more thing to add to your snack table for any get-togethers you’re having over the next couple of weeks, make sure you try this one out!
How to Make the Easy Crab Dip Recipe
So here are the 3 ingredients that you’ll need!
-One 227g package of imitation crab meat (about 1/2 pound)
-One small-size 250g tub of refrigerated french onion dip (We use “Helluva Good” brand)
-Two green onions, finely chopped
Finely chop your green onions and your package of crab meat until they look like a pretty good size for dipping. I like to chop my green onion up pretty finely, but then leave the crab meat in about 1/4 inch chunks.
Next all you need to do is place your green onions and your crab meat in an appropriately-sized bowl, dump the french onion dip on top, and mix it all together! I like to leave it overnight and then transfer the dip to a prettier dish just before serving.
And that’s the easy crab dip recipe! Everyone will ask you for the recipe, and when they find out that it’s only 3 ingredients, you can bet you’ll be seeing it at their house too the next time it’s their turn to host!
If you’re looking for another idea for something snacky/appetizery to make this holiday season, definitely check out this baked cranberry brie that my friend Sarah made for us all last week when we had a little neighbors’ get-together at our house. I could eat the whole thing with a fork! I didn’t, for the record, but I could! 🙂
Do you have a favorite dip recipe that you always have to serve every Holiday season?
