I thought it would be fun to share some random finds today as we’re starting to think about heading back into regular routines. Just things that I’ve been loving from here and there for my home and everyday life.

I thought I would share a few finds that I’ve been enjoying from across different categories today. Just a random selection of this and that, things you might find useful or beautiful, just for fun. From friend to friend, this is usually how I find my favorite things. Someone will mention something out of the blue, and it happens to be exactly the thing I’ve been needing. I find I have the same experience with thrifting or antiquing: I’ll just get the sudden urge to pop out to the thrift store, or take a trip to the antique market, and of course I find exactly the piece I’ve been hunting for waiting right there for me. So here are my random finds. Hopefully luck is on your side today and one of these things are exactly what you’ve been missing. 🙂

Inexpensive Classic Sconces | We just installed these in our kitchen as part of our little update project and they look like they cost about ten times as much as they actually did. I love the traditional details, cute proportions, and perfectly timeless low-sheen black finish. One word of warning: We found they don’t fit well over retrofit electrical boxes, so be sure to check your measurements before ordering. For this price, we thought it was worth it to do a little extra work to make them fit!
Wicker Shades | Although the linen shades that come with the sconces mentioned above are lovely, I decided to switch them out for these wicker shades and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love them. They come as a pair and would be lovely on a chandelier as well.
Gold Arch Mirror | I’ve had this mirror in the mudroom for a few years and I get so many compliments on it. It truly has so much presence and just makes the space in my opinion. It was sold out for the longest time (years), but I recently discovered that it’s back in stock!
Printable Portrait Art | It’s no secret that I love printable art, and I came across this ultra affordable printable portrait recently that I think would look so beautiful in a thrifted vintage frame.
My Favorite Inexpensive Everyday Earrings | I’ve bought a couple of pairs of these earrings from the inexpensive Amazon brand and, honestly, they’re amazing. They don’t lose their color even after over a year of wear, they don’t irritate my skin, and you really can’t beat the price. This is my current favorite pair that I’ve been wearing daily.
Fancy Book Marks | These are such a fun, affordable luxury. They’re actually so pretty in person and look like something really special, but don’t cost much at all. I saved the gingko leaf for myself and shared the rest.
The Best Blurring Powder | I’d been looking for a new powder and wanted to try one of those blurring powders I’ve been seeing around. I ended up ordering this one because this Korean beauty brand is always good to me, and honestly, the packaging was cute.:) It ended up being such a great find! This powder lasts all day, keeps shine down, and really does have a noticeable blurring effect.
My Favorite Perfume Oil | This Canadian brand has quickly become such a favorite for me. Their Vanilla and Orange scent is probably the best thing I’ve ever smelled and I love that it’s safe and natural, but doesn’t fade away immediately like some other natural perfume products.
Glass Refillable Foaming Soap Dispensers | The kids and I have fun going to the store and picking out different seasonally scented soaps to stock our bathroom cabinets, but sometimes I really think it would just be easier and less expensive to have some kind of refillable soap solution, that I could just top up as we need it. The kids insist on foaming soap, so I ordered these glass bottles with foaming dispensers and they’re exactly what I needed. They’re actually really pretty too with their apothecary style shape and heavy glass bottoms.
Protective Sleeves for Gardening (extra 10% off: CREEKLINEHOUSE) | Farmer’s Defense sent me these protective sleeves for the garden and I was so excited to try them out. I often get itchy red marks on my arms when I’m pruning and weeding, and these honestly sounded like exactly what I needed. They protect from scrapes and scratches, skin irritations, allergens, and UV rays. Some users even swear they protect from bug bites. They’re also breathable and sweat-wicking to keep you cool on the hottest summer days. I’ve been testing them out and honestly, they make me feel so much more brave while I’m working outside. I can just dive right in and prune large shrubs or scratchy plants without even thinking about it. I shared these on Instagram recently and someone suggested that they’d be great for our local agricultural workers too, and kids working in the fields over the summer, which I thought was so smart!
