I’ve got yet another quick variation on my world’s best plain cookie recipe for you today! Just in case your mind didn’t automatically start thinking about how that recipe would work with chocolate instead, I’m here to tell you that yes it does and yes you should have thought of it! You should always be thinking of chocolate! It’s just good for the soul.
These cookies are the chocolatey-est. They’re a choc-splosion. A choc-nado. A giant choc-ageddon! So, what I’m saying is that if you like chocolate, you should try this variation. 🙂
Again, it’s just as easy as the original recipe!
Here’s what you need!
-1 box of chocolate cake mix (432 g size)
-1 box of chocolate instant pudding mix (113 g size)
–2 eggs
-1/2 cup of melted salted butter
Mix everything together, roll it out into little 1.5 inch balls, and bake it at 350 for about 12 minutes! And there you have it: Chewy chocolate cookie perfection!
I’m really in love with this cookie dough because it’s so quick to make, easy to work with, and not sticky at all! I should note that each time I try a new variation on this recipe, I always try it with different brands, which all seem to have slightly different product sizes. Don’t worry too much if your box of cake mix or pudding mix isn’t exactly the same weight as the ones that I used, because it really doesn’t seem to matter much! I just use whatever box is easiest to find on the shelf, or on sale, or whatever. 🙂
Well, I hope you like this one as much as I did! This one was Kennedy’s favorite by far. If you want to try out some other variations on this awesome recipe, check out my original plain cookie version (vanilla), and also my fresh green pistachio variation!
