Adding a bit of black into a space is a great way to ground your design and these affordable black table lamps are a great way to do it. Here are some of my favourites that I found.
They say that every space should have a bit of black and in most cases, I agree. Black elements really help ground a space and give your overall design a feeling of structure and completeness. Our living room is pretty soft and bright overall, but I’ve used a lot of smaller black touches around the room and I feel like these bits of black really make the space feel more finished. When I was buying new table lamps for the desk, I was going back and forth quite a bit and couldn’t really decide what to do, but when I realized that I really needed another black element on this side of the room to make it feel balanced with the rest of the space, the choice for the lamps became clear. I thought I’d share a few of the different options that I found and really liked before settling on the ones that I chose. My two cents after looking at so many different spaces while doing interior photography: Black table lamps are an excellent choice. 🙂
My Black Table Lamps
Let’s first just take a moment to appreciate how great these table lamps that I actually chose are. I was thrilled with them when I took them out of the packaging. They’re just literally perfect in every way. They didn’t have a single scuff or scratch anywhere on either one and neither of the lampshades had a single dent, which I find is an issue I run into pretty often with lamps that are shipped in a box. I also, very much appreciate how all the hardware on these lamps is the same matte black, even on the lampshades. Having a shiny piece of chrome sticking out here are there on a brass or black lamp is pretty common, but it really bugs me, so I love that these are perfect from every angle. 🙂
Here are some other lamps that I found and loved! These are all great options if you’re looking for something to anchor your space or just a little vignette on a table.

Do you have a spot in your home that could use a little hit of black like these lamps provide?
