Slow Cooker Chocolate Peppermint Syrup

Peppermint hot chocolates and peppermint mochas are an absolute must have at this time of year, and this slow cooker chocolate peppermint syrup will make it fun and easy to prepare both for your holiday guests!

Course Dessert


  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract


  1. Combine all ingredients together in a slow cooker and stir until well-combined.

  2. Cook on low for two to three hours, stirring occasionally.

  3. Serve straight from the slow cooker or pour into a jar and keep in the fridge for up to a few weeks.
