Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup White sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 sticks Unsalted butter or plant-based substitute
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs or plant-based substitute
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp Himalayan Pink Salt

Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter and sugars, then mix in the eggs and the vanilla until everything is combined.

  2. Add in flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until the dough comes together. Add in the chocolate chips and mix until they're well-distributed.

  3. Chill the dough for at least 20 minutes, or overnight if you'd prefer.

  4. Add the pink salt into a little shallow dish. Scoop out about 1.5 tbsp of the cookie dough and roll it into a ball. Lightly dip just the top of the dough ball into the salt. Repeat until all the dough has been used up.

  5. Bake at 350° on parchment or silpat-lined baking sheets for about 9 minutes, rotating your baking sheets halfway through. Cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
