I just love Pottery Barn and I always have. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favourite new releases of theirs from their early spring collection today.
Sometimes I just like to get lost in a good catalog. Pottery Barn is definitely one of my favourites so I love that it’s available online and they even have an archive of past catalogs so you can browse and be inspired for as long as you like. I was looking through their catalog last weekend, as well as some of their other new releases and I found a lot of things that I thought were really great, classic pieces that would be worth sharing and worth investing in. So let’s do a little browsing together. 🙂
Pottery Barn Spring 2022 Finds
Home Gym Equipment | First of all, who even knew Pottery Barn sold home gym equipment? How long has this been going on? Not that we have room for any kind of home gym other than the living room floor, but it’s kind of always bothered me that everything available for home gyms is always so ugly, brightly-colored, and plastic-y. So I appreciate this just on the principle. This storage console with built-in yoga mat storage along with this mirror with the storage behind it are all you would really need to store everything and get your own little gym area set up. Oh, and a ballet barre of course. My gym would definitely have a ballet barre. 🙂
Round Recycled Glass Vases | Oh gosh. These are speaking to me. I love that they have tiny openings, which are much better for holding a single stem than the big open-top fishbowl style vases you can find at big-box stores. So classic and just one of those vases that you’ll reach for again and again when you have a single beautiful stem or branch from the garden that you want to display.
Bronze Candlesticks | I put away my brass candlesticks after Christmas, but then about a week ago I got them back out again and I’ve really been enjoying how they look unlit during the day, but also the coziness they bring in the evening even when we’re just sitting watching a movie. Mine are pretty festive-looking, so I love this set of 4 that has a bit more of an everyday/year-round kind of feel to them.
Metal Dome Pendants | I’m really loving this style of pendant light right now. The product page on Pottery Barn doesn’t make them look like anything too exciting, but we have a client who used something similar to this for a project we’re going to be shooting soon and they look so beautiful in a pair over an island. Pendant lights make such a difference in a kitchen with an island and really complete the look. It’s always so disappointing to me when people don’t take the opportunity to put pendants over their island. These just add the perfect little modern touch to a more traditional space, but also kind of bring a bit of rustic charm to a more modern setting. So much style for such a great price!
Ferns | I love all the delicate ferns used for styling in so many of the Pottery Barn photos. I find that ferns are something that can actually be done well in a faux version, and I love all the different varieties they have available right now. These mixed fern bundles are great for vases (it looks like you can separate them into individual little fronds and use one bundle in multiple little bud vases) and this little faux potted fern looks lovely too.
Dark Grey Cement Bunnies | I’ve gotten away from collecting a lot of seasonal decor recently. A few really nice key pieces and some natural elements are all you really need to decorate for any season or holiday, and these bunnies would be perfect for Easter. One or two on your mantel, some candlesticks, some fresh flowers or greenery, and you’re all set for Easter for years to come.
Lily of the Valley Napkins | The same thing goes for festive table settings. All you need is one or two nice, classic tablecloths, then you can switch the napkins out for a seasonal accent. It takes a lot less to store a few napkins than a whole collection of tablecloths. These are so beautiful and delicate and perfectly springy.
Tiny Glass-Topped Table | You know I can never resist a tiny table. The thick recycled glass top makes this one extra special.
Metal Bed Frame | Is this not the most beautiful bed you’ve ever seen? This is the kind of bed that people will ask about for years to come and will absolutely need to know where you got it if they happen to catch a glimpse of it. Or else they’ll just think it’s some amazing antique find. Note that curve on the footboard. Amazing.
Metal Daybed | Same feel as the bed above, but in a daybed! So great for a home office/guest room.
Marble Coffee Table | I’ve already shared this in my stories, but it’s worth sharing again. Such a beautiful, timeless coffee table, especially for an older home like ours.
Fallon Writing Desk | Is this the perfect writing desk? It just might be. Love the wood tone, the historical shape, the clean lines, all of it.
Bronze Glass Square Finials | Curtain rods have been a top priority for me lately and these square glass finials in bronze caught my eye and reminded me very much of the glass doorknobs that we have on all our interior doors.
Beachcomber Lidded Basket | I love the size and shape of this basket! So clever for making use of dead space against a wall somewhere. Lots of storage, not a lot of space taken up, and so much beautiful texture.
