If you’re in need of a great last-minute gift for the kids in your life, look no further than these kids’ books that make great gifts!
It may seem like a book won’t be the most exciting gift to give to the kids in your life, but I challenge you to pull out a box of books from your childhood and not get nostalgic. A good (or funny, or memorable, or silly) book can create some of our most cherished childhood memories, so you’d better believe that books are an amazing gift. You’ve got to get it right though! A cheapo book featuring whatever cartoon character is popular this week just won’t do. If you’re really wanting to give a great book gift, go with a classic, or choose one your new favourites that you’re convinced is a soon-to-be classic. Today I’m sharing a list of kids’ books that make great gifts, including quite a few that we’ve received as gifts over the years that we just can’t keep reading over and over again in our home.
Kids’ Books That Make Great Gifts
Toot (Leslie Patricelli board books)
My sister in law gave this to Jack a couple of years ago and we still read it like once a week. A new funny and cute new classic for us for sure!
This is one of Kennedy’s all time favourites from when she was little. She loves to read this with her brother still whenever she gets the chance and I love it too!
Another favourite from when Kennedy was little. Jack loves it too now. Our copy is such a mess from being read over and over again.
One of my little neighbour’s current favourites!
