My life is so unfair.
As in, it’s not fair how lucky I am. I have found so many neat old things to play with around this house In the last year.
Big old windows, glass insulators, barn wood, chippy painted bricks, and now this ladder.
Or rather, these ladders.
We had a big, tall two-piece ladder hanging on the back of our house. Chris cut one of the pieces in half for me, so I now have 2 small and one gigantic ladder.
Have you seen how much people pay for these things at antique fairs? A whole lot more than nothing, that’s for sure.
I put this first piece behind the kitchen door that I have to stare at from my blogging chair all the time. That’s where my convex mirrors that I showed you the other day ended up too.
Kennedy asked why I had a ladder going up to the ceiling. Chris said that I had a secret fort up there. They don’t get it.
And what part does the fake plant on a stool with some bricks play in all this?
Well, besides all the nice texture it adds to the picture, it also covers up this weird non-functioning central vac hole. If you can’t tear it out, just cover it up and pretend it’s not there!
Who’s with me on that one?
