The New Life-Changing Table has Arrived!

My Christmas gift from my (well, one of my sets of) parents this year was a new kitchen table.

Let me just tell you: It is all kinds of awesome.

Oh and we're talking about the table today, not the kitchen, so just ignore the mess!

This is exactly the big heavy table with black windsor chairs that I've been dreaming of for the last few years.

It's pre-distressed so it will just get better over time!

I love the dark warm honey color. I love sitting at it. I love crafting at it. I love cooking at it.

I love decorating it.

I love that it makes my kitchen feel bigger because not everything gets put down on the counters now. I love that it makes the whole house seem bigger because at family get togethers, the parents sit around the table (it can be made big enough to seat 12!) and the kids can have free reign of the living room and dining room.

I love that I have somewhere else to make pretty.

I love that my salt and pepper shakers have a home.

Yup. I love it!

Girl, I've been there with a table too. It's like a honeymoon that never ends! Congratulations on your new love. It's beautiful :)

Oh my I am so very jealous! The table issue is a never ending struggle for us with 6 kids. None of them are big enough while being affordable enough for me not to swallow my own tongue when a kid jams a fork into it! I LOVE the back chairs too!
