Did you miss anything in June?

I'm sure you've seen other bloggers do these monthly recap posts now and again. I've been trying to get my act together for the last few months to do one of these, and today's the day!

Firstly, I like them because I often see posts I've missed even when I think I've seen them all.

Secondly, I just want to make myself feel like I've been super productive and give myself some momentum heading into July.

So here's what I showed you in June!

The first thing I did was give the dining room a little bit of a Summery pick-me-up.

Then I showed you what became of my giant kitchen chalkboard and did a few wonky chalk drawings.

I made this super easy horsey pillow slipcover for Kennedy's room,

And updated you on the progress in our garden. And why it's all a big learning experience.

We got some more moulding up in the front hall,

made a fun sign for the back deck,

and almost, kinda, sorta revealed Kennedy's closet renovation.

To close out the month, I wrapped yet another random object in twine,

put way too much thought into our new plaid slipcover,

and showed you what a disaster I've let my yard become.

Guess what everyone? It totally worked. I am feeling like I had a really productive June.

Now we're into July and I have to admit that I've been really nervous about this month. Kennedy's out of school and I'm home keeping her company all day everyday for the first time. Eek.

At first I was feeling like the month was looking terrifyingly empty, but I've decided that instead it's  really just deliciously empty. Who know what adventures we could get up to?

Stay tuned!

I really like the "wonky" drawings you did on the gigantic chalkboard. It makes it more like a piece of original art. Nice job!

I definitely agree that you did have a productive month! And not only that, being a stay at home mom is productive in its own right! Love all your projects! ;)

Now I feel shamed and lazy compared to your June! I am in love with your chalkboard drawing! I need to copy that (so I am pinning)! And that horse head silhouette is fabulous (I have a thing for silhouettes)!
Here's to a productive July!
