So it's a bit early for St. Patty's day, but sometimes things just happen. One thing led to another last weekend when we were sitting around watching TV and pretty soon craft supplies were out and we were rolling.
Kennedy and I made this rag wreath together, which was awesome because all we needed were some old green fabric scraps and a coat hanger. I'm pretty sure I'll be using this for years to come. The little scrapbook paper sign in the middle might not stand the test of time, but you have to admit it's pretty cute, even if it's not the most Pinterest worthy thing ever.
When I think of this time of year, I kind of think a Winter meets Spring theme is appropriate.
See? Fresh-looking greenery with pine cones. Winter meets Spring. That's also why I've once again kept the decor pretty much the same from Winter and Fall. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. It's not lazy, it makes perfect sense!
Same ol' wreath the the addition of a couple of green rosettes.
Oh look! Another area that hasn't changed much in 4 months. It just keeps working for every new Holiday that comes around. Once again, that's not called lazy, that's called good design!
We made a little garland out of twine and green flowered cupcake papers.
And voila! Festiveness achieved!
Hope you all have the most wonderful weekend ever! Pin It
